My First Blog Post

I am going to start this blog, to promote entrepreneurship for Sri Lankans to get inspiration from Sri Lankan entrepreneurs and learn from their journeys.

When I look at the books on my bookshelf those are all about the great biographies of Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Andrew Carnegie, Mark Zuckerberg and etc. I always wondered why there aren't people like that in Sri Lanka who has changed the industries and revolutionized businesses to become successful. After a little research, I realized that the problem is not that Sri Lankan entrepreneurs don't exist, but the problem is no one has written about them.

As a solution, I would like to use this opportunity to write about the life stories as a blog in my blog page, in my free time so that future Sri Lankan's can read and get to know about the great stories of Sri Lankan founders along with people who changed the world.

I think it's pretty important to learn and get to know about other's journeys, I have achieved the things that I was able to achieve in life, partly thanks to my desire to learn about people who changed the world and their biographies. Reading another person's life story helps us to identify their mistakes, and avoid them in our story, and inspires us to become what we want to become thus reproving the fact that anything is possible.

All 8 billion humans residing on Earth have their own stories, and it's important to learn from each other's stories, so here it goes.

I hope that you'll stay up to date with my blog and read about the people who are in front of Sri Lanka's entrepreneurship eco-system. And I hope that I get some free time to research and learn from the people themselves to write about their stories in this blog.

Cheers!
